Issues

Over the last four years the Village has gone from near bankruptcy to financial stability.  The Village completed the delinquent 4 years of Annual Update Documents and provided them to the NYS Comptroller’s Office.  The Village was then able to apply for grant funds.  In the last year the Village has received over $125,000 in grant funds. We now have a reserve fund.  There is still work to be done. A short- and long-range infrastructure plan still needs to be done along with a 5-year financial plan with balanced budgets and adequate reserves to fund our long term needs.
